Mount Cotton

The spacious open-plan kitchen and adjoining butler’s pantry were designed to provide generous storage while maintaining a light, refined aesthetic. Deep drawers and full-height wall cabinetry ensure plenty of practical storage throughout the space.
The cabinetry is finished in Dulux Wairakei Quarter, a soft white with a subtle grey undertone, paired with Prime Oak Woodmatt open shelving to introduce warmth and natural texture.
For the benchtops and expansive island, YDL Giusto engineered stone was selected. Its polished white finish and delicate veining create a gentle grey undertone that complements the cabinetry beautifully.
To complete the look, the client selected brushed copper tapware and handles, adding warmth and a subtle point of contrast within the light, contemporary palette.

The adjoining butler’s pantry continues the kitchen’s elegant palette while providing additional storage and preparation space. Designed with practicality in mind, the cabinetry features Dulux Wairakei Quarter finishes paired with Prime Oak Woodmatt overhead cupboards, adding warmth and visual balance to the space.
The YDL Giusto engineered stone benchtop carries through from the kitchen, maintaining continuity while providing a durable work surface for everyday use. A large window brings in natural light and connects the interior with the surrounding leafy landscape of Mount Cotton.
Finished with brushed copper tapware and handles, the butler’s pantry offers both functionality and refined detail, creating a beautifully integrated extension of the kitchen.

The spacious ensuite continues the home’s soft, cohesive colour palette, combining functionality with refined detail. The custom vanity provides generous storage with a combination of drawers and cabinetry, helping keep the space organised while maintaining a clean and uncluttered look.
A double vanity with his-and-her basins offers both practicality and comfort, complemented by a dedicated make-up bench and integrated storage. Thoughtfully positioned lighting, including illuminated mirrors and ambient ceiling lighting, enhances the sense of space while providing excellent task lighting.
Warm Prime Oak Woodmatt joinery elements add texture and contrast against the soft white cabinetry, while all tapware and hardware have been finished in brushed copper, creating a consistent and elegant finish throughout the bathroom.
The result is a calm, well-appointed space that balances everyday functionality with a sense of understated luxury.
