Project Spotlight

This project began when our client, undertaking a major renovation of their 1920s Queenslander, reached out to us following a recommendation from a friend.

Our team was engaged to manufacture and install custom joinery throughout key areas of the home, including the kitchen and dining cabinetry, as well as a bespoke entertainment unit for the living area. The result is a seamless blend of thoughtful design and craftsmanship that complements the home’s character while supporting the needs of modern living.

The Kitchen

The kitchen features a clean and timeless palette, finished in Dulux Lexicon Quarter 2PAC paint and Tasmanian Oak accents for warmth and texture.

Lorde white natural stone was used island bench, countertops & splashback, creating a refined touch to the area, while integrated appliances keep the look seamless.

The Dining Cabinetry

The built-in dining storage is both functional and elegant, designed with entertaining in mind. It features a sleek pocket door dry bar crafted from Tasmanian Oak, complete with shelving and integrated LED lighting to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The cupboard doors are finished in the same Dulux Lexicon Quarter 2PAC as the kitchen, with matching custom handles for a cohesive look. Behind the clean exterior lies an abundance of hidden storage, offering the perfect blend of style and practicality.

The Living Area

The custom entertainment unit was designed to complement the kitchen and dining cabinetry, using the same combination of Dulux Lexicon Quarter 2PAC finishes and Tasmanian Oak framing. The lowline cabinet offers ample concealed storage, while the open shelving provides space for displaying books, family photos, and personal touches. Tall tower cupboards on either side add vertical balance to the design and create a modern, architectural feel—while also delivering even more practical storage. The result is a clean, cohesive statement piece that brings both style and function to the living area.

Final Thoughts

This was a fantastic project for our team to be part of, with an inspired design and wonderful clients who had a clear vision for their renovated Queenslander. The combination of materials—especially the striking natural stone—really brought the joinery to life, adding elegance and depth throughout. The generous breakfast bar not only provides ample seating but is also a standout feature, with its distinctive Tasmanian Oak batten legs adding warmth and personality. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to help bring this space together.
